Houston Hard Knocks: 2nd Annual Giving Back Project

In fall 2025, the Houston Hard Knocks are once again taking service to the streets with our 2nd Annual Backpack Blessings Project. After the incredible success of last year’s outreach, our players, families, and coaches are coming together once more to make a difference for those in need across the New Caney, Porter, and Kingwood communities.

Just like before, our goal is simple but powerful — to fill backpacks with food, hygiene items, and essentials that will be personally handed out to people experiencing homelessness. What started as one team’s small idea to give back has grown into a true tradition of compassion, teamwork, and leadership.

We’re so proud of our players for showing that being part of the Hard Knocks family means more than just baseball — it means serving others, leading with heart, and building a stronger community both on and off the field.
